AGD Trigger installation

Could someone please give me some tips as to installing a new mag trigger? I know you have to punch out the pin, but Ive tried for the last 20 minutes and gotten no where besides dinging up the frame.

The pin is a tight fit and only can be removed/inserted in one direction because one side is knurled.

If its a stock AGD Intelliframe you need to punch from the right side of the frame. If its a RPG frame you need to punch from the left side of the frame. If you purchased the frame used and someone has previously removed the pin, its impossible to know which side to remove from.

You have the tools necessary for a DIY removal. The knurl is maybe 1/16", so all it takes is 1 deliberate punch to dislodge the pin from the frame. But the only way to do that is to punch from the appropriate side, otherwise youll spend quite a bit of time banging away without success.

Thats exactly what I did I was punching from the wrong side, then tried from the right side and realized I was an idiot. Now, one more question, how do I get it back in? Start punching from the left side?

The easiest is to put it back in the same as you had it. Otherwise it will be much harder to get it back in.
